Ubuntu Server 14.04 auf Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V langsamer als 12.04

Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V & Ubuntu 14.04

Seit 17. April 2014 ist nun das neue Ubuntu 14.04 verfügbar. Die Installation auf dem GA-J1900N-D3V verläuft problemlos. Beim Test mit Byte-Unixbench mit laufendem Ubuntu 14.04 mussten wir nun feststellen, dass das Ergebnis von Ubuntu 12.04 besser war als mit Ubuntu 14.04. Das neue Ubuntu 14.04 hat die fast idente Leistung wie der Benchmark auf dem CentOS 6.5. Ubuntu 14.04 liegt etwa 20% hinter der Leistung von 12.04.

Hier der Test mit Byte-Unixbench mit Ubuntu 12.04 auf dem Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V Mainboard.

Hier der Benchmark nun mit Ubuntu 14.04 Server 64bit auf dem Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V Mainboard.
